Spotted Mulga Snake in Kookynie WA 6431 (Mar 2025)

Snake approx 1.5 metre long. Initially found in the toilet roll holder of the camp toilet block (thinking it was a python). Checked several times throughout the afternoon/evening until saw it completely emerged, with small narrow head finally visible. Did not get close enough to look for specific ID features once I realised it was an elapid, although the next morning I did find a shed skin about 30m away (and of similar size) that had 17 midbody scale rows.
