Description
Obs of the snake. We could hear bird hissing and found this tree snake in the process of raiding a logrunner nest. It was wrapped around the mother logrunner (source of the hissing but died pretty fast) and had a chick in its jaws. The remaining chick escaped. The last photo was taken around 30 minutes later; the snake had dropped the (dead) mother and was in the process of eating the first chick.
