Snake × 1 10 July

Description
I initially assumed that this snake was fatally wounded. But after it launched itself off the road, and disappeared into the bush with such agility, I'm guessing that its injuries were maybe not so serious. There is evidence of a small wound about a third of the way down the left flank.
